Could I be suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe morning sickness)?
Today I'm 7 weeks and one day. Since I found out that I was pregnant, I've been so extremely nauseous that I could not eat. When I was about 5 weeks I started throwing up all day long. If I'm not throwing up, I'm too nauseous to eat or drink. Before I found out I was pregnant, I weighed 128. My current weight is 123. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure if this is typical morning sickness or hyperemesis gravidarum. I was diagnosed with chronic migraines when I was 16 and since I've been pregnant, I get a full blown migraine once a week. Is this normal? Thanks for reading.

I lost a lot of weight in my first 12 weeks of pregnancy. I just could not eat. I couldn't even keep water down. I don't think you have the condition. It sounds pretty standard.

It is possible that you have HG. Most likely you will not be diagnosed until about 10 weeks. With my second pregnancy my HG was really bad. It started much earlier than my first pregnancy at just 5 weeks. Try to find foods/liquids that stay down. Get as much rest as you can. Eliminate an vomiting triggers, like smells or movements. Remember that if you are unable to keep down liquids in a 24 hour period then you need a trip to the er for fluids. A few bags of fluids will help tremendously and should help you feel better for a couple days. Some women feel better after 12 weeks. Most HG sufferers feel better by 18-20 weeks. Then they are those like me that suffer all 40 weeks. Good luck!

pregnancy migraines are completely normal. i suffered with a constant migraine for 5 weeks, wasnt nice. Your sickness should be seen by a doctor as theyll give you anti sickness tablets, im currently on them and i have been for weeks but im 36 weeks pregnant, but they are safe to take in pregnancy. im on metoclopromide.
but not eating isnt good when your carrying a baby so i do advise you see your doctor
