Opinion on the "90's kid" thing?
I'm so sick of these "90's kids" and "90's babies". They just seem so stupid and materialistic to me. All they care about is designer clothes, the latest technology, and what tattoo they're going to get next. I fear for the future ofAmerica (and the world). They just seem to not care about the world at all. They appear to get offended over the slightest thing and have little to no respect for their elders. They seem to think that the stuff they grew up with (cartoons, movies, etc.) are better than anything else ever.
I just want to know what you think of the generation of kids who call themselves "90's babies" and other stupid stuff. The 90's weren't even that awesome.
How do I know? I am a "90's baby", I guess. I was born in 1996 (there is a difference between "baby" and "kid").

It's funny that people who says I miss the 90s are the ones born from 1997-1999. Ask them what do they REMEMBER from the 90s and see if they can answer. There's a difference between the saying "I remember the 90s" and I know the 90s". And besides the only reason they're saying that because of the shows, the movies, the music and etc that came out back then... I highly doubt that the 90s was "Magical" as they say it was.

Because we were raised by the baby boomer generation, which had managed to royally eff our country up.
Everyone thinks their generation was tops. I grew up listening to how awsome the 80s were. It's all relative.
I wouldn't count you as a 90s baby either. You were 3 during the new millennium. You're a Y2K baby.

I doubt you've described most human beings born in the 90's.
It's a big world. Try not to generalize.

What about those 90's kids, they want to buy these new fangled horseless carriages. The women want to vote, The black ones want equality. When you beat them with a stick they want to object to it and fight back. All they want to do is watch Charlie Chaplin at the theater. They always have there noses in the books instead of out sweeping horse manure. - They went to the First World War, the invited the Air Plane, the Telephone, electric light .....
What about those 30's kids they want to listen to Glenn Miller and go to Dances. They want to go to speak easys and hang out with Gangsters. Most of them went to WWII and never made it back so you could *****.
What about those 60's kids who want to go to selma Alabama and march for Freedom. They all want to avoid the war. Like my brother told me one day "I won the lottery once and spent 14 months in Vietnam" They established civil rights as a fact
What about those 70's kids, all they want to do is listen to rock and roll and smoke dope. They want to have sex with women without being married to them. They want that long hair and bell bottoms We invented the PC,the internet and we are still making our mark.
OK, where does it end. Let them live there lives, let them define who they are in this world. They have already fought two wars, and now they are paying their dues the hard way.
