Which version of the Bible is "correct" and which of the 33000 sect of Christianity is "correct"?
Also, why aren't Muslims, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons correct in their assertions on God?
Why are any of them so arrogant to believe they have it right based on ONE. SINGLE. BOOK?
Sorry, "sects." Flying fingers and all.

They can't all be right, but they can be all wrong.
@Michael Cohen
Buddhism , Jainism , Hinduism and all the pagan religions don't acknowledge Jesus in any way. How did you come to the conclusion that it is logical for christianity to be true? Because many people follow it? Why isn't the Earth flat? Almost everyone believed it was in the past.
The rest you wrote is bs conjecture.

Jason BeDuhn in his book "Truth in Translation" believed that the New World Translation of the bible to be the most accurate translation of the main English Versions, this happens to be the version used by Jehovah's Witnesses who are a Christian denomination. I cant say regarding other language translations. Presumably the 'most' accurate would be the original greek/Hebrew/Aramaic versions if you can get hold of them and understand them
You have to decide for yourself which one you believe to be correct. You need to read the bible and see if a religion practices what is written there, most capitulate on politically unpopular points such as sex before marriage, neutrality etc.
Nobody can have it all right, but most people presumably believe the religion they are a part of is 'more' correct than others.
Good Luck.

It is not "one single book." The Bible, or more accurately, the Bibles are a "collection" of books.
The Hebrew Bible is a collection of books organized by the five books of Moses (Torah) a group of writings about the prophets, and another group of historical writings.
The Christian Bible is another collection of books about Jesus which has been attached to the Hebrew Bible.
Jews do NOT claim to know the "right" path. We believe that there are many paths to God regardless of one's religion or lack thereof. It is Christianity that claims to be the one true path to God, reserving a place of eternal torment for those of us who don't share their "belief!"

Jews don't feel that way. Not at all.
The best book/philosophy is the one that works for you.

All and none have some "truth" and some misconceptions b/c human beings are fallible and often
selfish and egotistical. However, some cults place conditions and restrictions on people that actually interfere with their spiritual growth.
There are many paths to enlightenment.
Buddha was inspired, Confucius, Zoroaster, etc. This is only an issue for people who are filled with pride (not love) and want to feel “special”-- like they are the only ones God cares about!
What hubris!
The Hebrew tribe was “chosen” to be the lineage in which Jesus would be born.
They were not “chosen” to be the only human beings to hear God’s voice! How absurd.
What I have eventually come to understand, is that God is love. Love comes to people of all languages, all cultures, all religions, or no religions, and all time periods.
1 John 4:8
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
When we act with love toward one another, and toward the other creatures on this planet, we act with God's loving spirit in our souls -- no matter what we call ourselves. Labels are man made and are totally irrelevant in the spiritual realm.
On the other hand, no matter what we call ourselves, if we act without love toward one another, if we judge, condemn, spread hatred, bigotry, ignorance, and are greedy, selfish, etc. then we have no love in our hearts, and are listening only to the sound of our own egos.
Jesus Christ said: "I am the way and the truth and the life" and that WAY is to LOVE.
That “way” is not to thump Bibles.
John 13:34: "Love one another as I have loved you."

I'm not saying it is the only correct version but God showed me the Bible is true while I was reading the King James Version.

you'd have to go to the basement vault in the vatican to find the most correct version of the bible since it has been changed at least a dozen times since it was first compiled and older versions are kept there. the oldest, most correct printed version, though, is the guttenberg. there is no correct version of christianity, they all tell lies
