Good Workout Routine?

I'm looking to create a 5-6 workout routine. Problem is, I'm not sure how exactly I should set it up. Could someone give me a solid 5-6 workout routine? I don't need specific workouts, just which parts of the body to workout on which days.

I'm primarily looking to build some muscle.

Also, is it worth working on one muscle group a day? Ex. Working on just arms one day, legs then next, etc. or is that ineffective?

I'm just looking for a plan that'll be effective and will help me the most.
