What would the average cost of this tattoo be?

i would say 250 i couldnt see it costing more than that .. i would do it for a couple hundred in my old shop. but the artist sets the price find the best one you can locally and haggle with him/her or ask them if they could call you if they ever have a slow day and try to get it a little lower .. generally the better the artist the longer the wait and the more the price goes up.. the higher the price the better the product in theory .. take your time find the best artist and be as nice and friendly as you can tell him/her your budget and see what they can do... my answer 250ish up to ?

that picture does have A LOT of shading, I would say that will cost around $450-650 dollars. quality artists charge around 100 per hour, I would say you possibly would need 2 two hour sessions and a tip to the artist each time.
