Christians, didnt Jesus make a big thing of only assosiating with the dirt poor?

Jesus was/is son of God the creator. He actually was wealthy, hung out with wealthy people. Had beautiful clothes, the romans cast bets for them when he was dying on the cross. He humbled himself to connect with the poor to show them there was a way out of poverty. Would you want to follow a poor beggar if he showed up telling you that there is a way out of poverty? No, doesn't make sense. You really need to do some homework about the world and whats going on in it before you post this stuff. And he does care for you and everyone else.

Jesus came into a time when the Jewish teaching was that rich people were the only ones favored by God. Jesus was confronting the leadership by telling him that the poor were also should be cared about.

God answers people anywhere who cry out to Him

No America is not like the romans. I am dirt poor. and He is with me. Not because I live in America but because I believe in him and I am refuse to the entire world, just thrown out homeless injured to the point of death and the only thing on mind is please Dear God help me, Jesus came and helped me, and he is here and he lets me know it every moment of my life he touches me and Gives me the will to go on, because I had none , I was dying of a broken heart and in agonizing pain laying under a tree in the rain, and I started to scream.... I layed at his feet while he provided me comfort, and protection from the elements, he is my nurse maid, I love him so much I wish I was dead...

Jesus wan't that to the extreme. He was with those that were humble and he had to help them know ht Truth.

What if a brother in the congregation has a serious problem and his relationship with Jehovah is in danger? The Bible writer James said: “Is there anyone sick among you? Let him call the older men of the congregation to him, and let them pray over him, greasing him with oil in the name of Jehovah. And the prayer of faith will make the indisposed one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.” (James 5:14, 15) Even if the brother who is “sick” does not “call the older men,” elders should be quick to help him as soon as they become aware of his situation. When they pray with and for their brothers and support them during difficult times, the elders show that they are good shepherds who are encouraging their brothers to continue to serve God with joy.—Read Isaiah 32:1, 2.

Jesus loves everyone. He was invented because the Old Testament God was too strict and nobody liked him. So they invented Jesus so people could be forgiven of their sins and not spend their whole life worrying about going to hell.
