I'm wondering if anyone can identify the cause of these symptoms?

My skin hurts near my knee. Really sensitive to touch, no rash. Also, a stabbing pain under the skin occasionally. I've been trying to read about it, everyone says shingles, but nobody has described a stabbing pain, too. Thanks.

Knees are really complicated. YOu need to see an expert. Nerve damage? Sensory nerves can cause 'stabbing' pain. So does a splinter of bone.....you need an xray.
