In Crimea? Yes..... but if they are to invade parts of Ukraine outside of that area then no... They need to respect their agreements and Ukraines push for freedom and let them rebuild. Crimea was GIVEN to Ukriane by russia in the 50s (1954 if i remember correctly) and now that Ukraine is going to the EU Russia will not stand by and let their Black Sea port get away. THATS what this is all about but Putin being a former KGB agent/member/whatever set in his old beliefs could possibly be looking to take over Eastern or "Russian" Ukraine which will lead into a bloodbath and possibly the take over or split of Ukraine. So far not a shot has been fired... which im happy about but thats just a bullet or two thats saved for later when the Sh1t hits the fan..... Good luck to all those who support both sides and i hope that no blood is spilled
On another note the US government needs to keep their noses out of it... Its not our business.... we have our own problems and it will possibly leave ther US vulnerable if it goes to full blown war....

Eastern Ukraine is ethnic Russians, western Ukraine has become neo-fascists. It would be hard to watch your people harassed to some degree and politically enslaved without doing something, Putin didn't wait for the situation to escalate.

Yes. Half the people of Ukraine consider themselves Russian.

NO they are showing to be the dictator of Ukraine. Ukraine legitimately ousted a corrupt leader that was shooting protestors. He was overthrown legitimately and Russia has no business there.
@Girl, no they don't - the protestors were the majority.

Russia doesn't care if it's "right" or not. They aren't the least bit afraid of Obama as they know he's just a weak liberal who doesn't deserve respect.

It's their only warm water port so I would say they will want to keep it.
