Damaged my knee thoughts on the injury?
Was out running with about 15 kilos on my back and after taking a knee injury stood up, heaRd a pop in my right knee and the it buckled and gave way. I tried to stand up immediately and it popped again so I fell over. Third time I stood up, fair amount of pain but I could walk. Ithe swelled up massively and is still stiff 3 days later? What have I done?

6 AnswersOther - Politics & Government7 years agoIs it wrong that i proudly call myself a Yid?
Many opposition fans use it with negative connotations, the hissing etc. But i wear it as a badge or pride and laugh when people think i should take offense. But I know that it originates from a much darker reference that was used in a negative way. Im not Jewish i know nothing really of how a Jew may perceive it, is it wrong that i am proud of it?
6 AnswersEnglish Football7 years agoWhy is the world falling apart?
I started taking an active interest in world events at 13 and i don't ever remember periods of unrest and situations so dire, as they have been for the past 2 years. There is no end in sight for the Syrian civil war. The conflict in CAR is only on the rise. Ukraine's parliament almost reverted due to a policy of 'no protest' (which i understood fortunately failed). After almost 15 years we can be sure that the war on terror in the middle east has been unsuccessful and yet withdrawals are minimal.
Has it always been like this or have i only just opened my eyes?
13 AnswersPolitics7 years agoWill Rooney finally return to his ST spot?
Now that Mata is almost definitely moving to United, will we see a Out and Out striker in Rooney, partnered with Van Persie now HES back, with Mata filling the gap, and possibly with a Ilkay Gundogan move on the cards, a new United?

4 AnswersMilitary7 years agocompetetive run times?
I went on a selection with PWRR on the Gurkha base in ashford last year. Throughout the weekend i was told 10 30 is the competitive time for 1.5miler. However when it came to the run it was more like 9mins. It got me wondering what the hell the competetive times must be for the Royal Marines, Paras, and the USMC and any other US infantry based forces must be. Answers? (Please no we have to swim across the channel carrying a camel under each arm etc just honesty)

3 AnswersEngineering7 years agoWhat will happen once Syria's chemical arsenal has been disposed of?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-256424...
SAA have been using Sarin and targeted towns and civilians, apparently the basis for these attacks was the systematic targeting of every possible rebel location.
Will the SAA really give up its entire chemical arsenal, whilst clearly being on the defensive? There is no doubt that the government is fighting a lost war.
If so, will UN troops enter Syria under the pretence that the majority of risk will have been eliminated?

3 AnswersOther - Football7 years agoDoes culture affect the media/western public oppinion of Islam rather than Islam itself?
Islam is at the forefront of religious debate daily (sharia etc.) Do you think it is as backwards as it is percieved to be or do you think it is Eastern culture that we as westerners confuse with Islam? (You see people having hands cut off etc, animals in the festival of sacrifice slaughtered, yet its not happening in the UK at least.)
