What if Janet Napoles turn state witness, do you agree or not?
Janet Lim Napoles is the so called queen of pork barrel scam. And right now she is presently under the custody of the PNP regional headquarters in Laguna. What if she suddenly turn state witness, what would you think? Is she credible enough to be a state witness? That would only free her of any criminal liability just like the rest of the Napoles staff that includes Benhur Luy and the rest of the gang who falsify and doctored all those documents from BMP to congress to their imaginary government agency.
Justin--If it is handled there in the US she will get lesser sentences than the usual sentence that she has to face. For example if she will get 25 to 30 years or life, by being a state witness she will probably get 5 to 10 years tops. It is not good to hear or see people who participated in robbing the country go free without any punishment. Just because she turn state witness everything is forgotten that is completely ridiculous. Remember she took some money and profited out of it. And if this is done in the US Napoles is place in a minimum state penitentiary not in a holding house somewhere in Laguna and being guarding by the police force that is being payed by the people's tax money. All the accused in this plunder case will be finished within 6 months in a court room not in the senate hall even if some of them are senators, judge, or congressman. But of course we are not in the US. that is why Americans are a lot smarter than the Filipinos.
I understand as a state witness, you have to spill the beans of some sort and tell all about it. The deal is that you tell all and you will be set free for your contribution and under the witness protection program you will disappear for good, the government will change your name, status, and everything and will probably live outside the Philippines for good because of the threat to your life. This how the US government works I do not know if this works well in the Philippines and with Philippines officials that are corrupt I do not think you can live longer as a witness because they have some leak to your where about including your family.

The bigger question is whether the government has enough evidence to prosecute and convict all involved including the senators and congressmen involved in addition to her. If not then get her as state witness to get the big fish personalities. This issue is getting to be a shame to the whole nation. Speed up the trial ; create a special court if necessary so as not to enable Enrile, Estrada and Revilla to elude the long arm of the law by hiding behind legal maneuverings through postponement of trials, TROs etc. If Binay wins as president in 2016, there is likelihood this case will be dismissed due to Enrile's close ties with that man; another reputed corrupt name in Philippine politics.

In the US, if it was handled there she could become a witness for the prosecution and maybe swing a deal for immunity. They sometimes do this in order to convict more criminals. Then, the prosecution could turn around and press other charges against her.
I do not think she is a "credible" witness. She will lie to try and beat the charge or charges against her.
I hope they convict all involved and remove them from office and sentence them to jail.

No she won't turn into a state witness because if they do so they will give her somewhat of an immunity from the charges against her. Just convict her, I guess the evidences are very sufficient by now so why the delay? :-(

since benhur luy also agree that she is the "brain" behind the scam....if she would talk then all the better. she knows all the bits and pieces and all the transactions she had made.

All the evidence points to her guilt and the mastermind of the pork barrel scam.
I think she will do anything to save herself including lie.
I'll read about it when I return to California. Leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. ( but I will )

THERE WILL BE NO REAL PUNISHMENT FOR THOSE INVOLVED.
THOSE SENT TO JAIL WILL BE TREATED LIKE PRIMA DONAS.
DEATH IS ONLY THE REAL PUNISHMENT.
