should i play offensive or defensive line?

I am going into my senior year of high school, im huge, im 6'7 and weigh 350 lbs, I just transferred schools and am now at a school that traditionally plays players on only one side of the ball, at my old school, they had players play on both sides, I was good on defense because im big and aggressive but I am not very fast so that was a weakness, but I could play offensive line because I have long arms, am big and am aggressive, but didn't play much offensive line at my old school because all my old coach cared about was speed, not quick feet, but speed, my new coach told me that from my game film, I should try and decide what side of the ball I wanna play and that I would be placed on that side of the ball. What position should I play, I am not very fast, but am very strong, have solid feet, long arms, am aggressive and can easily push just about any lineman around

I'll echo Blocking Back. If you were that big and had a lick of athletic ability you would not need to ask a bunch of strangers.

Huge doesn't mean you can play, But if you are huge and you can play then I haven't the foggiest idea what you doing wasting your time asking this question.

Based on your height and weight, as well as your strength, I believe that the best fit for you is at defensive tackle. You have the ideal size for a high school senior defensive tackle.

My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do this offseason is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of being a successful, top notch defensive tackle in high school football next season, who could go on to play college football.

By the way, your chances of playing college football depend on your performance in football during your senior year of high school. If you perform very well in football during this upcoming season, you will greatly improve your chances of getting recruited to play for a college football program.

Ever play center? If you do well, you can get a full ride. Also, work on being a long snapper. Always in demand in the pros.

Great story but I'm calling bee ess. Your coach will put you where you're the best fit. Players never choose.

Offensive lineman, you don't have to chase down the quarterback, those qbs can be slippery little bastards :P

You should have a talk with the coach and see what options he is gonna give you.... He will determine where you will play.... Good luck....
