I have all of the symptoms of BPH however for 2 days I had blood in my urine. They did a cat scan and found that I have a kidney stone.

What's more likely? Prostate cancer or enlarged prostate?

I set it to 62 but it heat up to 68. I turned the thermostat down to 60 then it shut off. Is it normal for it to heat up several degrees past what it's set at?

The Bible is not supposed to have any contradictions according to what I've been taught but this sure does look like one. I thought it may be out of context but it is not.

“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV)

Clearly the Old Testament is to be abided by until the end of human existence itself. None other then Jesus said so.

"It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB)

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB)

Here are the laws Jesus is referring to which are the laws of Moses...

"If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her." (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)

"If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife." (Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB)

"When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion." (Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NAB)

This is just a few. I am trying to figure out why these laws are not still in effect even though Jesus said they needed to be. Please refer back to the 1st 3 versus.

I believe in God but I refuse to believe that God would command someone to kill babies. I've heard people say, "They were evil people". The babies were evil too?

What's more likely, that God really did tell them to kill babies or that men killed them all by themselves and told themselves that God was with them to make them feel better about it?

I don't want to hear how God was vengeful in those days because God is supposed to never changing.

About a week ago I noticed he was not himself. He didnt want to eat anything. He complained about lower abdominal pain then would pass a LOT of gas along with Dairrhea. From 7 am to noon he went 4 or 5 times. Later that day he seemed a little better but the next morning he had the gas again but with loose stool. Also, it smelled awful. In fact, I threw away the diaper in our bathroom which is never an issue but when my wife thought there was a dead animal in the bathroom somewhere. He took a nap later that day and woke up with his cheeks and ears very read. I thought maybe he had slap cheek syndrome but his stomach issues are not a symptom of slap cheek.

The next day, he seemed his old self again. His energy and appetite is back. My wife took him to play and then he ate. After he ate, he started complaining of a belly ache and it got worse. Lots of crying and obvious discomfort. I gave him some gas drops and a childrens pepto and he seemed fine. He fell asleep and woke up crying again but then fell back to sleep. He's passing gas because I can smell it however that's it.

Does any of this sound serious or am I just a new parent that is going out of his mind with worry?
