Question for compound bow hunters?
Do you like a little creep at the backwall? Just wondering.

Personally? No. I like the cams to have bottomed out and have a hard stop there. If there is creep then, particularly if I'm not in a normal body position I can get a small amount of collapse in my form which impacts my accuracy. If I'm back against the can wall it helps me keep my shoulders and arms properly aligned.

I don't care. I can see where having things bottom out would give you a little less slop, but honestly I don't think it matters. Given the effective range for a bow and the accuracy obtained through basic shooting techniques especially with modern bows, whether there's a little variance is irrelevant. Unless you're shooting competitively maybe, but I'm a hunter so a 4" group at 40 yards is perfect for me.

i haven't tried to shoot at a lil creep when he's been at the wall. i don't think others would approve.
