I need to increase my internet speed.?

So, my internet provider offers really fast internet, but I'm on the other side of the house, and Ethernet cables aren't an option, an I have nowhere to plug in a router. How can I boost my speed?

Powerline ethernet adapters may be something to look into, you plug one into an AC outlet next to your router and one into another outlet near your computer, then connect one to your cable modem via ethernet, and the other to your computer via another ethernet cable, they transmit data along your existing house wiring at ethernet speed.

what do you mean you have no place to plug in a router the router is pluged into the cable/dsl modem at the input of the line. Make sure you have N wireless card and the router is N and should be fine.

you can get a wifi extender pretty cheap from bestbuy, they work really well for getting wifi in those hard to reach areas.
