can you help me with a social experiment?

Hello, I am testing a little experiment, as I'm curious about the way people perceive my eyes. I've been curious for a while, as to why I get certain looks from people as I look at them. Whenever I address someone, I always look straight into their eyes, but I try not to be intimidating, and if I see that they're intimidated, I'll usually look at the bridge of their nose or someone in that general area to take pressure off (unless I'm trying to intimidate which is a rare thing). The most interesting look I get, is one of fear, but not fear. In other words, it's more of a curious, caution. The really interesting thing is that I get these looks only from people who claim to be religious, more often, those who are Christians. Also it should be mentioned that I look like an average guy, these looks definitely aren't by a human cause (wacky hair, etc.). I want to explain as well that I'm not talking about some people looking at me weird. The way they look at me, is almost as if they are trying to read my soul. As I do know most of these people well, I know that they don't normally look at other people this way. I would like you to comment anything you can on what you see, from a few adjectives, to a whole paragraph if need be. I will choose the most interesting perspective as the best answer, but don't let that discourage you from answering this. As I stated, I am merely interested in how random people perceive my face, as sort of a social experiment. Thanks in advance to any participates.
