Crimeans vote to Russia side, what happens?

Well, we all know that nearly every nation doesn't support an "illegal vote". They say they won't recognize it...But what will happen, it's not like Russia will stop. It seems like sanctioning them will be the only option...

So, two questions...

Do you think that sanctions would actually work?

and

If sanctions don't work, and Russia stays, what's the next option?

Out of 192 countries in the U.N. only 15 voted. 13 of them voted with the U.S. China abstained. Russia voted against the resolution.  It was not illegal. Dont citizens have a right to decide their fate? 

Why are you supporting the Ukrainian radical right-wing anti-semitic regime instead of supporting a democratic vote in Crimea?  Why are you disturbed that Crimea voted to be part of Russia rather than an autonomous part of a failed state of Ukraine that is broke and owes everyone money?

The U.S. is not acting properly. Russia helps the U.S. in the world and this is how they get rewarded? The only possible interest America has in the Ukraine is to get oil and gas and squeeze Russia out. Even one of the neo-Nazi Ukrainians said he would blow up the pipeline from Russia. These people are not sane.

USA is no more the No 1 Super Power, and therefore they can fret and fume and rant about their economic sanction, but very few listen.Become formidable again, and other nations will fear you, and submit to your diktat.
