Do you trust in your fears? Or do you trust in your "faith"?

Clarification: IF you think of something you are currently facing in your life; you may have many thoughts of what is to come. You may have some trepidation/fear regarding the future...or you may have thoughts of victory and hope in what will occur in a given situation. You WILL have faith in one or the other..either the good thought or the negative one. If you are convinced the "fearful" idea will come to pass...you are already defeated. If you believe that the good result will be yours; or that something good will come out of the situation regardless; you cannot lose. Your thoughts? Let me add though that as a Christian; I believe that God tips the scales to favor us and empower us because He wants us to succeed. With Him..all things are possible.

You know, there was an article explaining the 'science' behind being 'lucky' recently. One of those scientific points was intuition. That 'gut feeling' or instinct that is often people are advised to use when taking risks or making choices. Yet the irony of that is there's no specific nor explainable reason WHY when most people follow their 'gut' they have such a high percentage of being 'right' or 'lucking out'.

So how does one explain the high success rate in those who 'follow their gut' in choices or risks that reasonably have NO PROOF of being successful nor being right? Just the simple consciousness of optimism and FAITH that inevitably leave folks with 'luck'.

So while most base their 'faith' as something simply as having confidence in themselves and that through every logic or rational thought there is ALWAYS an answer that doesn't involve any lack of evidence to make a decision, reality is there isn't any true explanation for 'intuition' and its workings.....so where do people get off on thinking 'faith' is worthless eh?

    my 2 cents.

I don't think about my faith or my fears. Whenever something happens such as a sore throat trying to come upon me, I say, Thank God I don't have a soar throat. The Holy Spirit empowered me with those words because He wants me well. Yes, with Him all things are possible.

" I believe that God tips the scales to favor us and empower us because He wants us to succeed. With Him..all things are possible."

Really? So I guess that when the scales are tipped in your favor, they're tipped away from all those starving and suffering children in the world.

    "All things are possible"

Except for the eradication of suffering without a human sacrifice being needed, right?

I'll put it this way; I have confidence in myself, and in my abilities to deal with the situations that arise in life. I am able and willing.

All things that are possible with your god, are also possible with any other god, or without a god.

    Such is reality.

Faith is not blind. It is always based on evidences.

You go to work and wait to be paid by faith that you will be paid. Faith is an action based on evidences that a promise will be fulfilled.
