Has Pottermore taken down content that used to be there?

I haven't been on Pottermore in a while, but when I went back recently, I noticed a couple things missing that I know used to be there.

For example, there used to be a long backstory for Professor McGonagall that described her falling in love with a Muggle boy but then marrying her much older former boss from the Ministry.  Now, the only parts of the backstory I see are from her childhood and years at Hogwarts.

Also, in the information on the Chamber of Secrets, it talked about how the entrance wasn't always in a bathroom because wizards didn't used to use bathrooms, and it described how descendants of Slytherin had kept the entrance concealed when a bathroom was built on top of it.  Now, there's general information on the Chamber, but none of the stuff about hiding the entrance.

I've tried asking about this in comments on Pottermore a couple times, but my comments have sometimes been deleted.

Am I going crazy here?  Are they removing content and censoring anyone who asks about it?  Or am I just not remembering where it was before?

When I first read your question, I was like "ha ha...no silly person.  Just go to...oh gosh where are they?"

Seriously, how have I not noticed that before?  I can't believe that they TOOK DOWN J.K. Rowling's exclusive information!  That's the main purpose of the site!  Why on earth would they do that?  Not only that, but they also removed "J.K. Rowling's Thoughts" on McGonagall.  Who knows what other entries have been tampered with?  I honestly have no possible explanation for them doing this.

However, there are some things that we can do.  First of all, the (complete) entries can be found on the Pottermore Wiki (McGonagall's is at http://pottermore.wikia.com/wiki/Professor_McGonagall , and the Chamber of Secrets is at http://pottermore.wikia.com/wiki/The_Chamber_of_Secrets_%28place%29 ).  Also, I encourage you to contact Pottermore about this.  You can email them by going to https://www.pottermore.com/en-us/help#other , then "What's Next?" and then "Need more help?"  You can also bring this up if you want to participate in the Pottermore Survey. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.  This has made me so furious; like seriously, what the heck?
