The 2016 election will mostly go to a democrat. Wouldn't you agree?

Whether you're a conservative or a liberal, you must admit that America is still reeling from the Bush debacle. It would be odd to elect another republican this soon afterwards.

That and the fact that worldwide religiosity is falling. As we learn more and more about science, lack of religion is ever increasing. Cosmology, biology, technology, and a thorough understanding of the injustices religion has caused throughout history will eventually nail that coffin shut.

Dont you think?

You forget ~ Obama claims that he believes all religion

No, we do not believe that the 2016 election will mostly go to a Democrat. In fact, Bush's approval rating was higher than Obamas.

The only reason that America is still reeling from the collapse of the real estate market and need to bail out our nation's lenders is that Obama has done nothing. Nothing.

    As in ~ nothing.

Obama appointed a group to oversee the possibility of another financial disaster, briefly mentioned that he's working on the ACA, and went on a golfing tour right on through the BP Oil disaster. His "Blame Bush" campaign became grueling. Even Liberal media complained after a year of nothing but, "Well, you have to admit, this country was in a real mess when I took office."

Obama's carefree overspending was the last thing on Liberal minds. He refused to cover the cost of the wars in the Middle East, claiming that Bush was supposed to have paid before he left office. The truth is that one of the last things a President does is creates the budget for the next President's first year in office; the alternative is going into the Presidency with no spending plan and a huge spending battle with Congress ~ Obama refused to pay for the war, and having spent every penny that he could, he stuck the cost right on top and called it Bush's deficit.

So when did Obama fix the economy? Never. He finally got around to unemployment when it became in issue during the Republican primaries.

So when did Obama bring the troops home from the Middle East? Funny, but Liberals say that he "ended two wars" with our troops stationed in Iraq permanently and committed to Afghanistan indefinitely. It's practically the same situation as it was three months after Operation Iraqi Freedom when our troops became a military occupation instead of an invasion. As I recall, Senator Obama confronted McCain, saying, "The war is over! Why can't he (Bush) bring the troops home right now? Today?"

Funny how he "ended those wars".

The list of things that Obama didn't/wouldn't do goes on and on. This behavior is exhibited in almost every aspect of Obama's Presidency. The strangest saddest part of it all is how little Obama has done and how much the Liberals like to pretend he did.

Here's another strange fact: although the Conservatives make up a strong half of this nation and many Liberals are very dissatisfied with Congressional Democrats and Obama himself, you can always find a Liberal that claims that the Republican party is all but dead.

    Strange. Very strange.

It's a bit far out to say for sure. One thing that is certain, the GOP will take the senate and retain the house in November. In those two years, if the right can put together a game plan, they won't have much difficulty at all in 2016 to take the White. House. Just keep in mind, a year and a half before the 2010 midterms, the left kept saying the republicans were dead, gone, never to win another election in history, and the right smacked down the Obama but good. We shall see.

So you're saying it takes the democratic party at least 12-16 years to get things going the way they want it to?

For better or for worse, what Obama leaves after eight years is his own legacy, not that of George Bush. And this comes from a person who voted for Obama twice.

Obama and the democrats have disappointed me. Not sure I'll vote for a Republican in the following presidential election (I will in my local congress race, at the least). If Hillary runs I will probably vote for her, depending on who is running as a Republican.

Blaming things on George Bush still is a position only a weak party would take and I have no doubt the Democrats aren't going to be using George Bush as a talking point any longer.

There are number of things to consider. Although the Republican party has become largely out of touch with most of the population there are still a number of things they could do if they were to have a chance of winning.

The main reason Republicans usually lose is due to the Hispanic vote continuously growing. Republicans don't really appeal to Hispanics as much as Democrats due to their 'path to citizenship' approach to immigration. However, in 2004 George W. Bush won 44% of the Hispanic vote due to his fluency in Spanish and because of Jeb Bush being married to a Hispanic also.

So many Republicans believe that Senator Marco Rubio, a Hispanic and fluent Spanish, Senator should run in order to appeal to Hispanics. But also the Republicans are just simply out of touch due to the influence of Social Conservatives and the Tea Party who're both devoted to maintaining the grassroots of the party, i.e. very right wing and out of date ideas.

Nope, you have a better chance of winning the lottery. Just because he lasted two terms means nothing, just means that most people enjoy seeing the same face even when they do not agree with the leader...Remember Bush....the guy you hate so much.......he lasted two terms and then it went to a retard that happened to be a democrat.

A Democrat will win unless the Republicans cheat, but that's very well possible.

since Lincoln won the Presidency for the Republicans, the Democrats have never gotten two different Presidents in a row unless the first one died in office

No way a GOP or tea party member wins. They don't want minority votes. They think this we will get the Midwest and the south and screw racial minorities and lgbt and anyone who isn't old rich and white wins elections

I think there's a very good chance of a conservative getting in.
