My grandad just had a hernia operation and his balls and penis have gone all purple and a bit swollen.?

He is dead worried about this, can someone re-assure him.

    unless his doctor told him that would happen, it shouldn't. call the doc's office or get to ER. For his kind of hernia op, that might be normal, but don't trust me, talk to a doctor VERY soon.
