We occupy a whole spectrum of balance so there is no "normal". Managing balance is part of everyday life to maintain rationality. Losing the ability to control is what leads to insanity.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on what they are trying to accomplish and whether they are able to reach their goals. Every person is different. The issue is whether the person is getting to where they want to go.
