Does anyone else want this in their life? Is this normal? All can answer! 10 points for opinion!!!!!!!!!?
I am a romantic at heart and LOVE action and adventure, specific movies and books, poetry, anime, video games, etc. However, it seems to me that now in society love is confused with lust. I want so badly to have a romance depicted in Disney/Ghibli/YA books etc. I want a RESPECTFUL person who really would sacrifice themselves for me if needed for I would readily do the same. This doesn't have to be for just girls to answer.
I wish there was excitement in life, or at least more than what we have. I just watched Frozen and while the romance was a little flat, I still enjoyed it and realized, stuff like that probably will never happen. And that makes me really sad.
Thoughts?

I don't know if I am on the same page as you, but I value a real connection and a real relationship with a women... one who I have strong feelings for and can just talk about things with her... society, world issues, people, life, whatever...
Now I ain't like the "traditional romantic" who goes and picks one rose from the field and gives it to his girl... not the type who has to pull the chair out for the girl to sit down, I think that's corny and she is obviously able enough to do that her self... I don't consider myself "romantic" obviously, but I am "respectful" as you say, and I value a true relationship... things like cuddling and just hanging out as well are nice...
Lets put it this work, I don't understand how someone can say something like "sex is a true symbol of love".
