i have a clamp meter which has DC Amp meter, i want to ask if that show 5amp on screen what does that mean ?

i have a clamp meter which has DC Amp meter, i want to ask if that show 5amp on screen what does that mean ? 5amp/hour, 5amp /min or 5 amp /second?

    Amps/sec doesn't make sense because an Amp IS a rate of flow = 1 Coulomb/sec.

    It has nothing whatsoever to do with time.

    The measurement is (only) an instantaneous value, not a rate.
