Is "cynic" a good way to describe someone who...?

...Not only sees people as selfish and full of themselves, but also loves to argue and debate when they know someone is wrong and is very easily annoyed by morons? If not, what would be a good word to describe such a person?

the term cynic or cynical is a fair description of the first part of your example. The second part would be better served with the descriptor of arrogant or arrogance.

Cynic is probably right. If they tend to notice more negative traits than positive, and incessantly moan about everything then they're probably cynical.

    Source(s): I'm cynical! :P
