scientology does not believe in the Creator God written in the Holy Scriptures/Bible. it started under the title dianetics meaning through the mind. they use the symbol of cross like a letter "T" perhaps to show that they are also a religious group. they do not even believe in creation. although they believe in spirit as separate from the carnal body of man. they use the word "church" or "ekklesia" in Greek to indicate that they are a group or a community or assembly called by god (maybe a Greek god). the word dianetics also refers to soul which is a biblical term. they have foundations to solicit and maintain funding of their activities. they claim that they are studying the truth but they do not know what is truth in the biblical sense. definitely they are not the church which is the household of God or the church of the living God written in the Holy Scriptures/Bible which is established by God and headed by the Son of the living God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

With all due respect "no". Some people can see and some are blind. There is nothing to make about either one. Both happen to exist. But if I put a pictures of a car, a boat, a watch, and a computer, and cell phone. And then show many of the same pictures of them being massed produced We both agree they were created by an intelligent being. Because of all of them have working parts that allow them to run smoothly and efficiently and serve a purpose for man. And when I put a pictures of a bird, fish, animal, human being, a flower, and tree. And these too can reproduce themselves over many years. And each of them have small internal organs that allow them to work wondrously so they can serve it's purpose in nature, which is to sustain life. This is where for some reason people doubt if a higher intelligent being made all living creatures. I am one person, that does believe there is an higher intelligent being that made all these living things. The "Good Book" says man is created in the image of God. And what man does in the creative and innovative process to make non existent things exist on earth, not only validates that statement. But it affirms the faith of all ancient religions that recognize the existence of such a being we call God., not just way back then, but up to and even beyond our time as well.

Scientology teaches that people are immortal beings who have forgotten their true nature.
Scientology beliefs revolve around the thetan, the individualized expression of the cosmic source, or life force, named after the Greek letter theta (θ). The thetan is the true identity of a person – an intrinsically good, omniscient, non-material core capable of unlimited creativity.
In the primordial past, thetans brought the material universe into being largely for their own pleasure. The universe has no independent reality, but derives its apparent reality from the fact that most thetans agree it exists.
Scientology is legally recognized as a tax-exempt religion in the United States, Italy, South Africa, Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain; the Church of Scientology emphasizes this as proof that it is a bona fide religion. In contrast, the organization is considered a commercial enterprise in Switzerland, a cult (secte) in France and Chile, and a non-profit in Norway, and its legal classification is often a point of contention.

A question like this will only serve to alienate Scientologists. They will view it as religion bashing. Plus we are accused of being in a cult and we don't like it. The Bible says to "season our words with salt."

Yup! It sure is a scam and a good one too. I should have become a preacher and thus rich, just like that cardinal chap who has a very nice $2 million mansion out of the congregational proceeds.

@Truth told the truth. One definition of a cult is the the followers follow a man and that sounds right for Scientology and a lot of religions.
