can i have a good career if i do engineering from a private college in India?
well i understand that the quality of the institution matters a lot, but just on standard basis will it be smart to do engineering in private?
i have come to know that there is no jobs on offer to people who come from private engineering colleges.
so should i do eng, or do bsc?
is there any other career options which i can opt for, which has better jobs on offer?(relatively)

Hi,
I don't know who gave you the information, but that's not true. Understand that all may not have equal caliber to clear IIT's or NIT's, so what they should do? Go and start stealing/theft etc. No obviously. Private colleges aid them in getting equivalent education that is being taught in government aided Institutions. Regarding jobs, ya, you should study in good private colleges to get good placement opportunities. Jobs are aplenty, provided you know where to look for.

At present, There are numerous private colleges who does business using the one and only Engineering Department. So beware of those , yeah there are some good Institutions offering some real value to money, regardless , Try to focus on Govt colleges at the max.
My best suggestion for you is, Do a course which you like it from the bottom of your heart, and do that Interesting work after your course completion, by starting a business on your own.
Also think that Engineering will take 4 precious Years of your life , when you start to dislike it at any point , as there is no turning back.
So , Choose your field , be the best in it, Lead it :-)
Thank you,
Cheers,...... !
