Put makeup on and now I have something that looks like a stye?
I only wear makeup like 3 times a year. I get styes 5-6 times a year and this is the biggest stye I have ever had.
I have tried polysporin for styes and the hot water facecloth but none of it works.
Is going to the doctor warranted or is it not that big of a deal? It's very painful and itchy.

Since you have styes that frequently you might want to see a doctor to see if there is something he can prescribe that will be more effective against the germ that is causing them.
And toss your makeup and buy fresh, in particular mascara or liquid eyeliner. They are prime breeding spots for bacteria. Wash your hands very well before applying eye makeup.
