You misrepresent both God and Satan of the scriptures. Satan is evil of course, but he is not in charge of "containing and punishing the wicked at heart"

He is not a "warden" in charge of hell. And he does not "assist" God. The very name Satan means adversary of God. He burns eternally in hell just like all the rest.

Rev 20:10 Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Rev 20:15 And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Satan does NOT assist God in doing anything, least of all to punish those who do bad. The idea that he is in a fiery cavern with horns and a pitchfork, laughing over the pain of evildoers, is pure paganism, and is completely false.

In the scriptures, Satan is pictured as doing many wicked things here are three of them:

1) He accuses God and his servants constantly:

Proverbs 27:11

11 Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice,+

So that I can make a reply to him who taunts me.

Revelation 12:9, 10

9 So down the great dragon+ was hurled, the original serpent,+ the one called Devil+ and Satan,+ who is misleading the entire inhabited earth;+ he was hurled down to the earth,+ and his angels were hurled down with him. 10 I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come to pass the salvation+ and the power and the Kingdom of our God+ and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God!+

2) He is a liar and the father of the lie

Genesis 3:4

4 At this the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die.+

John 8:44

44 You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father.+ That one was a murderer when he began,*+ and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.

3) His words and actions cause death

Hebrews 2:14

14 Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly shared in the same things,+ so that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death,+ that is, the Devil,

Our Creator, Jehovah God, is the source of life, and he cannot lie. He gives everlasting life to those who lost it through sin, and who want to receive it through true faith in his Son.

Psalm 36:9

9 With you is the source of life;

By your light we can see light.

John 3:16

16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son,+ so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Titus 1:2

2 and is based on a hope of the everlasting life+ that God, who cannot lie,+ promised long ago;

The devil is a FALLEN ANGEL.. not a "MASTER" of anything...Still using the SAME OLD tricks cause it STILL WORKS.
