in matthew 24, jesus says stars will fall to earth as a sign of his return.

we ALL KNOW stars CANNOT fall to earth, so....jesus is NOT coming back, right?

So I'm watching Family Feud with hubby the other night, and one of the questions was, "what is it about women that makes you think they were designed by god?" and hubby, who grew up deeply indoctrinated into the Penticostal Holiness religion, says, "they have more ribs!" I said "huh?" o.O Then I realized he was serious! So I told him, "No Sweetie, you've been lied to again."

so, if god is some "grand designer" who didn't make us as bags of meat for "maggots and decomposers" to feast on, why are our bodies COVERED in bacteria that only want to get inside and "feast" on us? Only humans care about other humans, that is my message as an atheist. Other animals (except for those we've domesticated) do not care if all humans die off today. The universe doesn't seem to pay us any attention at all.
