How come christians always talk about the blood red moons as being a sign of jesus's 2nd coming, but ignore the part...?

..about the islands and mountains moving around, and the stars falling to earth? Isn't that cherry picking?

Revelations 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. - Mt 24:29.

Bible writers were so ignorant they thought that stars were tiny things close to earth, and able to fall from the sky.

The Revelation is the Scripture that is most difficult to understand, that is why Christians do not talk too much about it.

The verse " 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth," may mean that some planets would clash with the earth to create catastrophes.

When there is a blood moon, the earth gravity will be changed that affects everything on earth, including the occurance of earthquakes, volcano explosions, sunami and more.

Jesus Christ will come during the Great Tribulation when the bloodmoon to be occurring, and during the Feast of Trumpet. Some people prophesize that Jesus will come in September 26, 2016, during the Feast of Trumpet.

Who's ignoring it? Those prophecies about in Revelation 6 haven't been fulfilled yet. They will be after the rapture of the church. It's a strong possibility that Revelation 6:12-14 is referring to nuclear war, but to John the nuclear warheads looked like stars falling to earth. Then again maybe they're meteorites falling to the earth. Either way you don't want to be here when it happens.

Never heard of a shooting star either I guess. It's not like people make wishes on such a stupid thing. If a Star actually fell on the earth we would be burnt to a crisp way before it touched us right? So those things you see "shooting" across the sky are Star traveling to another section of space because they have a time share.

If christians could not cherry-pick their bible, they couldn't be christians.

Their religion demands of them many things that are highly illegal in civilized society.

As example, today I would not have to marry the criminal who raped me.

Christians are blood-thirsty, and motivated by superstitious fear. They are a dangerous lot.

    Isn't that cherry picking?

    - OF COURSE, that is the basis of christianity.

Christians don't always talk about that.

In fact, I suspect that an extremely small percentage of Christians believe that or talk about that.
