I'm planning to run away from home?

It's very hard to live in my society. I feel suppressed and that my life goes on without being able to be free, its just I suffocating feeling. I don't know how life would be if I tried to run away from home. I'm still studying at the university with two years left. I don't want to quiet, but I'm depressed to think about doing that one day. I'm 20 yo, will I as an adult be able to run away to another country without being caught? What if my parents and family tried to get me back, do they have this kind of right??? I live with my parents, since I'm as a girl can never live alone. I feel like trash when my family treats me as an object that should be protected. As if I'm not trustworthy enough. So please, don't lecture me. I also would like to know which country has the most opportunities for foreigners. I'm afraid to end up homeless or something like that!

I think what you need, instead of running away, is more of a vacation of sorts. I am starting to feel really trapped myself in a way, with all of the stress from having to go to college with no money, working 80 hrs a week(HS and 40hr job), and having to take care of my family. I don't know if something like this would apply to you, but as soon as I get my replacement motorcycle(involved in a wreck) I am going to go traveling for a bit. Coast, mexico, whereever I feel like, really.

If you are really adamant about moving, I would start off by going to another state, or across country. It would be a shocking change of scenery without as much risk involved. It is much cheaper than moving to a foreign country as well.

I had to do a report for one of my classes at school. I chose to do the report on human trafficking. In my research, I learned that at any given moment there are more than 11 MILLION people being held and forced into work or raped and beaten daily. 87% of the people being held captive are women. Your parents must protect you - there are a lot of evil and mean, vicious people out there who wouldnt think twice about harming you or using you to make them money in unthinkable ways!!

I would encourage you to stay with your family, where you are protected!! There is far worse out it in the world!!! No matter where you go, you will have to face dangers of being caught or even worse.

It would help to know your country/society.

There are a number of organizations that help women leave countries/societies/cultures that view women as property or unequal. There are groups, Shelters, etc. dedicated to helping women out of these places. You may want to use google to search out some help before you try...
