Should alln politicians have to be honest?

should they have to submit to a polygraph and be questioned on their integrity and honesty and their sexual orientation towards children before being allowed to run for office?

They should wear vests with patches of all of their corporate sponsors.

Should they be honest? Yes. But "lie detector" tests are unreliable, at best. They're more often than not a tool to manipulate people into giving confessions rather than a reliable indicator of whether or not someone is lying.

Second Zorak's comment, but extend it to unions, non-profits, and special-interest groups. They should be like NASCAR drivers. The size of the patch indicates the size of the campaign donation.

You haven't really thought this through, right? It's just an arbitrary suggestion?

Who asks the questions that the politicians have to answer? What questions will they have to answer, besides the silly one about sexual orientation towards children?

You think polygraphs are infallible? How cute.
