Aftermarket smoked tail lights, how to get them certified?
Basically these are my aftermarket tail lights, Velenti smoked.
On their website it says that they are:
* Made by OEM Approved/ISO Certified Manufacturer,SAE/DOT Approved
* SAE/DOT Approved, E-MARK approved 100% Road Legal Special Order from manufacturer, re-designed for NZ / Australia cars, all our head lights are RHD(Right-Hand-Drive car)
I've emailed them to get these certified on paper if that's possible. During the day is when I get worried, not because of the police.. but for insurance reasons. "I ran up the back of you, because.. well your tail lights are smoked and they are not noticeable" something like that.. :/
Just asking, after I get a the certificate, the way to go about it is to address it to my insurance company? Or wouldn't I need to bother and over reacting?
