  • Broke up with girlfriend but I miss her?

I m 21 and my ex is 18 and dated over a year, we are both still in love but why did we break up? see it all started when I got a job on boarder Patrol so Im not home as often anymore.

She hates this job because I see her a week for every 2 months and a month off at Christmas, I tell her that this is totally necessary because it sets up our future, an apartment and a life I want for us.

She just wants me home, now I m home, she s acting strange, not wanting to kiss, hold hands, anything. A week of that she refused to tell me what s wrong so I pulled the plug, I know she loves me, that s how confident I am. I m she sent me text messages saying that she is the one at fault and she wants to still hang out.

I ve played it pretty classy, I m pissed off but she doesn t know that, I just want her to understand what I m doing for us, but now I m home and finally here, she doesn t want to know me? What should I do?

Aftermarket smoked tail lights, how to get them certified?

Basically these are my aftermarket tail lights, Velenti smoked.

On their website it says that they are:

    * Made by OEM Approved/ISO Certified Manufacturer,SAE/DOT Approved

    * SAE/DOT Approved, E-MARK approved 100% Road Legal Special Order from manufacturer, re-designed for NZ / Australia cars, all our head lights are RHD(Right-Hand-Drive car)

I've emailed them to get these certified on paper if that's possible. During the day is when I get worried, not because of the police.. but for insurance reasons. "I ran up the back of you, because.. well your tail lights are smoked and they are not noticeable" something like that.. :/

Just asking, after I get a the certificate, the way to go about it is to address it to my insurance company? Or wouldn't I need to bother and over reacting?

  • My guy friend was being a d*ck to a girl, she now likes me..?

So I'm 20 and this girl is 19, my friend is 23.

Anyway, my friend wanted to "get" with this new girl at work which I thought, alright fair enough.

A few weeks passed and she absolutely hates him.. I approached her and asked what's going on.

She said that he doesn't want to be friend unless they sleep together. Now, to be honest I thought that was a slack move. I told her to forget about him, I invited her out to lunch and we walked for a bit around the pond, fed the ducks and stuff.

I wanted to get to know her, the more and more we talked, the more we began to trust each other.

Anyway, she likes me. I like her, my friend how ever thinks I am a dick for "stealing his bird" and telling her all the bad stuff he has been saying about her.

I like my friend, he's a good guy, but when it comes to girls, he's horrible. I want him to move on, and hopefully learn from this situation, that not all girls are looking for one night stands.

How do I get him to calm down and accept that he screwed up, I'm not the problem, but the way he treated her was?

  • Girl loves me but I don't feel the same..?

I take this girl out a lot, to dinner, watch movies, and she's quite pretty as well.

But for some reason, I just don't feel the same.

I've been single for around 6 months now, turning 20 and this girl is actually so close to perfect that I can't believe.

I've asked my friends what they think, and I might need to agree with them because it could be the ugly truth.

She's told me how she feels months ago, she's waiting on me to ask her the question.

I know she likes me, and maybe that's the problem. There's no chase, no effort, she's just ready whenever I am.

She asked me today where we stand, and I told her everything, straight up and honest, that I think she's such a beautiful girl but I just don't feel it anywhere.

She said that she'll wait till I'm ready..

  • I failed my first session at Uni :(?

I don't know what I'm asking here, I live in in Australia studying at Wollongong University. I had 4 subjects, and I passed 3 with flying colours. I was 5.5% off passing Advanced Mathematics, I found out today and I was just upset because I studied 2 weeks every day just for maths, I can honestly say that with all my heart.

Im 19 years old, male, and for the first time ever I came home and my parents asked how I went, I was just speechless, I blew $7,500 up the wall and nothing to show for it. They asked how I went and I explained that I basically screwed up, I closed my bedroom door and I sat down for about 4 hours on my laptop trying to keep my mind off it.

Im here now, I just feel like I let my parents down, I used their car 5 days a week to travel back and forth from Uni, all for what? I knowing that I let them down, as well as myself makes me feel like a waste.

I have no idea what to do, I could try and repeat that specific subject for $2,000 and pass it. But if I fail, man.

Or I could go to Tafe and study a diploma and get a job that way. It's just always been my dream to be a programmer, and I can't do the mathematics, I wish I could get it easier like most people.

  • Shoul I purchase a gaming laptop over the ps4/Xbox one?

I've had the xbox 360 for a long time, as well as a ps4. I only work at Maccas and at Uni, so I budget only for video games haha.

With the next gen consoles coming out, I didn't really think much of it. I figured I mays well trade in my console, and buy a gaming laptop.

I understand desktops are the way to go, however, as I mentioned, I have Uni too so I would like to make it easily assessible :)

I was looking at the Alienware Mx17 at a price of $3000.

The price of the laptop doesn't scare me, as having no girlfriend for the past few months has saved me a lot of money haha :)

I think Alienware is the best to go, people will say its a waste of money, but I don't mind :)

  • Has Feminism become more about power rather than equal rights?

I just want to leave it open for discussion, over the recent years, protests and alike are signifying that females aren't given equal opportunities. That's not my issue here, it's the problem to do with fighting against men, proving a stronger gender in today's society.

I've read articles and god forbid; the most stupid Facebook statuses which classify men a large majority of rapists. The fact is, most man couldn't live with the fact that they raped a woman in my opinion. I could be wrong, the battle remains, why such bigger over something that doesn't have anything to do with societal status?

Its just something that has caught my attention and I would love to see people's responses on the matter (:

  • Should I break up with my girlfriend?

    We have been together for 3 months, I'm 19 and she's 18.

We have reached this stage where she feels totally comfortable with me and she now acts differently.

What I mean by this, she's starting to grow independent and with that, not really showing any respect towards what I have to say.

An example, I've told her that I feel uncomfortable that she speaks about our relationship to my guy friends. I don't want to hear about our issues along the grapevine, and it shouldn't be their business.

How ever, she has given me the "deal with it" speech, the thing is, I go out of my for her, but she is accusing me for not letting her do what she wants.

I'm sitting on the fence about breaking up with her, this isn't the first time she has been acting like this, and it's gotten to me.

Even though I still love her very much, I'm unhappy, what should I do?

  • Girlfriend ignores text messages?

We've been dating for about 2 months, and we text often, but I've noticed for the last few weeks, I send her something and she just doesn't reply. I'm not worrying or anything, but when we hang out we are the happiest couple in the world, but when we are apart it's like no contact. It doesn't bother me, I have things to do that are equally important (play xbox / study for Uni) but besides that, it makes me wonder if it's a normal thing for girls to do this? If so, that's great, I can add that to the "I'm fine" (but really I'm not fine) or to the "What ever" (Im angry at you) nonsense haha

  • My girlfriend is getting bullied by another guy?

My girlfriend and I have been together for about 3 months now, and we are extremely happy to say the least. But it was until last week she came to me and told me about this guy who inbox's her on Facebook, apparently he makes fun of her, he says things like "I hate the group you hang out with, you deserve better. You should chill with us" and other little comments he makes.

I want to tell this guy to stop speaking to her, I have no idea how to go about it, I'm 18 years old so threatening him could be a wrong move, but on the other hand, I don't want to ignite this any further. Does anybody have any idea's on how I can handle this without making it harder for her?

  • Girlfriend doesn't want to do anything sexual?

I'll keep it short and sweet, my girlfriend and I are both 18 years old and have been dating for 2 months. As far as sexual acts goes, I've fingered her and I continue to do so for about a month. The problem lies within returning the favour, I find it uncomfortable asking a girl to give me something, but she has reached this stage where she expects it.

What should I do to get her to do stuff with me?

Note: I like her a lot, so leaving her is out of the question, it would be nice (from a guy's point of view) to get some action in return haha.

And please don't write "Give her more time" or "Wait until she is ready". A guy's brain operates sexually, so basically, 2 months of waiting feels like 2 years for us, so please, a little understanding haha. Thanks in advance

  • Is it worth getting xbox live?

I was thinking about buying my way into xbox live finally, the only issue concerning it is that I will have to purchase a wireless adapter ($70 - 90) and than adding to that, another $40 for 3 month gold membership. In addition, a good multi-player game to play with my friends (Halo 4 / COD) . But is it really worth spending $200 +? My friends tell me I’m missing out on the other half of what these games has to offer. I’m heading over to EB games this afternoon to trade in my Kinect (Biggest mistake of my life to purchase that sh**) and a few other games (Far Cry 3, Hitman, Tropico 4). So anyway, what are your opinions?

  • Girlfriend makes me miserable, what to do?

She puts her friends first, never have I had the chance where it was just me and her for once, we’ve been together for 2 months now.

I’ve spent over $200 on her, and I know girl’s cost money, but all I’ve gotten out of the relationship has been a peck on the lips.

She doesn’t go out of the way for me like I do for her, and her friends are rotten. She makes me unhappy, I’ve tried and tried talking to her about it, as you can guess, I am about ready.

I’m asking what seems to be a question that I already know the answer too deep inside, many girl’s would love to be my girlfriend (without sounding like an asshole.) she is just a genuine girl.

I need someone with a clear mind to tell me, should I leave? or should I try one last time.

  • How do I get someone to apologise for vandalism?

A few days ago, I parked my car in a parking lot to see a movie with my girlfriend, when the movie was finished, I saw that someone has spat, and trampled on the hood of my car, leaving indents within the hood.

I didn’t know who did it, until I got the surveillance tape from the parking lot camera’s. It has now been identified as young adolescence drunk.

I have already payed for the damages, and I do not want to press charges, because I know that people do stupid things whilst they are young.

All I want, is an apology, and I will drop any charges. The truth is, even if he doesn’t apologise, I will still drop the charges, as I believe no one deserves to have a criminal record that early.

How should I go about this?

    Thankyou in advance :)
