Does anyone know of a website for support of family members of a person with schizophrenia?
This person will not acknowledge that he has an illness. I'd really like some way to have support for my own self in dealing with his illness. I'd appreciate any form of support anyone knows of for this illness.
Thank you.
I'd really like to find a site where I can talk to other people who have a similar situation. I've been to many sites that give advice, etc. but I'd like to find one where I can talk to others.
Thanks.
@ Dr.- I have the schizophrenia.com app on my tablet but will look at the other link you gave. Thank you very much!
@ Sunrise (I abbreviated your name- I hope that's ok) I am gentle- I know it isn't his fault. I appreciate you reminding me that it isn't his fault. When you are the target of schizophrenic rages, it's not always easy to remember the person causing you pain is also in a lot of pain.

Dear Panda!
I've found this one as a good one:
http://www.helpguide.org/mental/schizophrenia_help...
Secondly, you can also see support centers in various countries:

those are some tough cards. I know a girl who has to look after her schizophrenic sister. Maybe try to make your life to have other support things so it doesn't consume you. Good meds are recommended but if they don't aknowledge it then thats difficult. Remember its not their fault and its very painful for them so be gentle.
