The OT part of the Bible contains Jewish writings about the Jewish religion, and God's dealings with his chosen people - a nation. There are important prophecies in the OT about the coming Messiah who will save, not only his people, but the world.
God then focused his attention on all mankind as a whole and his Spirit can Bless every human being - potentially, through the sacrificial death of Jesus, a Jew, brought up as a member of the Jewish nation, he suffered to save the world.
Christianity claims that Jesus Christ son of Mary was indeed that Messiah, for he fulfilled many of the OT scripture, especially in becoming the human sacrifice, for Christians perceive him to be the sacrificial Lamb of God, which sadly many Jews have not noticed in relation to Yeshua (Jesus)
So the New Testament is a continuation of the Jewish story and God's guidance of his people. The first Christians were Jews.
Jesus, the Messiah brought a New Covenant whereby people from all the world can become true Children of God - now Christians are drawn from every tribe and nation of the world
The Jews were not just a religion but a nation with a land that we have always called the Holy Lands because God promised them to the Jewish people and that is their present claim, based on God's promises of old - and God DOES NOT CHANGE his promises! The Messiah will return one day to rule the world from Jerusalem - this is why the Holy Lands have their place essential through all history.
Islam arose through the visions and writings of the prophet Mohammed
They believe and honour Jesus to be a prophet and teacher but no more than that; they also honour Mary as his mother, though their account of her delivery of Jesus is different. To agree with their concept of Jesus they believe that the resurrection stories were invented, but Christians have a relationship with the living Christ Jesus, he did not perish but rose to be an everlasting Spirit and part of God whether you call him Jehovah or Allah.
Islam believes that God will send someone special, maybe the Mahdi, who will reign from Jerusalem, but I have read different accounts re this particular belief, but that is why Moslems also focus on Jerusalem as of great future significance.
Jews and Christians are more closely related because the OT writings are revered and studied by both groups. Jesus Messiah was a Jew.

The difference is Jesus and what Christianity and Islam claim regarding this person.
Islam claims Jesus was miraculously born to the virgin Mary, and that He was a prophet. So does Christianity. But Christianity goes much further than that, saying that before He was the baby in the virgin's womb, He was the eternal, uncreated Word of God who made everything that was made, and who IS God (as stated in the Bible in John chapter 1.) Christians worship Christ as God. That, to Muslims, is blasphemy. Well, certainly, if Jesus was no more than a good man, an acclaimed prophet, it would be blasphemy to worship Him. Christians understand that. What they would say is that the Bible identifies the Word as leaving Heaven and the Godhead, to add human nature to His divine nature.
This leads to the second main difference between Christianity and Islam. The Hebrew and the Greek Scriptures are taken by Christians to be the inspired word of God - all of it. Muslims say those Scriptures were corrupted and that they cannot be taken as true. They stick to only the Qur'an as inspired of God and uncorrupted. Yet their Qur'an only has 25 verses in the entire book that speak of Jesus! What they know about Jesus is almost nothing, based on their book! And, as the Jesus of the Qur'an is clearly not the Jesus of the Bible, there can be no meeting of minds between them.
You will find other faiths that are also based on Abraham's faith disagree with Christianity on exactly the same points. In fact, Christianity is unique in all the world as claiming Jesus to be the eternal, uncreated Word of God who is God. AiH

Judaism: There is one g-d, no divisions or anything else. Jesus is not a messiah or a prophet in any way and doesn't meet the qualifications of being so. Study the Hebrew Tanakh as their spiritual text. Views on the afterlife ("Olam Ha-Ba") are quite diverse, one does not have to be Jewish to be in g-d's favour.
Christianity: Holy Trinity, Three in one. Jesus is the messiah and holy son, who was a teacher that was crucified and resurrected, Bible is made out of old and new testament, afterlife consists of either heaven or hell - nonbelievers are generally punished.
Islam: Believe in Allah. Study the Qur'an, which is the word of God revealed through the main prophet Muhammad. Recognises 'Jesus' as a prophet (although called Isa), afterlife similar to Christianity but with nonbelievers punished.

The Jewish faith tells the story about how God created man, and how man fell from grace. God however provides humanity with a series of spiritual leaders who are responsible for returning God's chosen people back to God. Each time God's people fail, but God is ever faithful. Until the year the 70 when the Romans destroy the Jewish temple, and the Jewish people are scattered.
Christianity takes up where Judaism leaves off. It says that mankind was never capable of restoring our place with God. God so loved the world that he himself served as the atonement to restore communion with humanity. This redemption corrected the sin of Adam and the Church today serves as a guide for all believers.
Islam teaches that Muhammad is the final prophet, who provides humanity with all the instructions on how we should live. First of all; God is One, and Muhammad is his prophet. Muhammad claims to be after the mold of Moses and Jesus, however Jewish and Christian holy books are considered corrupted and rubbish. He reinterprets the stories of the Bible to his own benefit, and condemns all those who do not agree with him. He misrepresents all the Jewish and Christian teachings as he gains wealth and power for himself.

Abrahamic religion is actual the religion of Islam or some time called Hanif. The real essence of this religion is to believe in the one true GOD, the Lord of the worlds and never ascribe any patrners to GOD . So to ascribe Jesus or other prophet of GOD to become HIS son is actually doing blaspheme to GOD.
That is why Jesus will return to earth for his second returning and announce to the whole world that he is merely the true prophet of GOD nothing more than that.

What other Abrahimic religions, there are three, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, in that order. What differentiate them is their style of worship and prayers.

An invisible voice tells an adult to slaughter a child.
In the story of Abraham, Abraham makes careful preparations to do so, and at the last possible moment, God says the ancient Hebrew equivalent of "April Fool!!!" and stops him.
In the story of Andrea Yates, the same thing happens, except that God sat on His big fat throne and let her go ahead and slaughter them all.
Abraham is revered as a good person, while Andrea's lawyers entered a plea of "Not guilty by reason of being just plain fkkking crazy".
Any religion based on the belief that an all-knowing God would have to "test" anybody, as if this God did not already know what the results would be, is contradicting itself from the get-go.
Any religion based on believing that when an invisible voice tells an adult to slaughter a child, it might be the voice of an infinitely wise and infinitley merciful Superbeing, is not to be trusted.

Jewish belief:
Crucified to death by the Roman army and the rebels are criminals that someone named Jesus. Jews believe that Jesus wants to be king and take over power.
According to Christian
Was crucified until death or Jesus Christ. Then after three days rise again from death, and after it was taken to heaven by God.
According to the teachings of Islam:
On the cross is someone else who likened her by God. While the prophet Jesus himself immediately taken to heaven by God.
Of the three versions above Jesus is the same,
Jews regard it as a rebel,
Christians regard as God,
while Muslims regard as a prophet.
