Is this world filled with a lot of misanthropic cynical hypocrites who have no desire but destroy humanity and they are getting into power?

I wouldn't say the majority since that would require some sort of empirical evidence but I would say that yes there are people that are like that in the world... these people are usually deep down angry/hate themselves because of their own bad experiences in life and because of that they project this hate and anger onto the world and the internet hoping it will make themselves feel better, the best thing for these people to receive no matter how much hate and anger they give is love, the people who are cynical are like that for a reason, lack of empathy and love at birth (as well as through out life) gives rise to cynical behaviors and these people feel like they are always right no matter what they do since they are self-centreds, thus hypocrisy becomes a problem at times... the only way you can really make them understand what they are doing is not right or not morally correct is to expose the 'flaw' in which they are hiding that makes them cynical, which will allow them to collapse back into reality, and make them realize the path to self understand and evolution they are taking is not the right one, the path of selflessness and loving others will truly liberate them
