80% of maximum temperatures are between 13.3°C and 19.4°C. The highest ever temperature was 25.9°C in 1990. 80% of minimum temps are between 5.5°C and 10.9°C with the lowest ever being 2.2°C in 1890.

Sydney has mainly mild days with the occasional warm one in July but evenings are cool and early mornings can be cold.

The median rainfall is 74.6mm on 11.2 days so it rains about one day in three but only one day in four gets a millimetre or more.

Sydney does not get cold in winter. It's mild with cool nights, but nothing below 10 degrees. Australian's will say it's 'freezing', but that's because they are all cold intolerant heat and sun junkies :-D

Corrie, winter in Sydney is a whole of a lot better than from where I come from in the winter.
