What is your opinion on the Crown Victoria?
I want to get my daughter a car but I want her to have certain responsibilities. She ruined her last car and I want to get her something that she will have to take care of such as insurance and repair cost. I wanted to her a Crown Victoria becuse I see alot of those but I don't want to get her a Mercedes she will ruin again. Whats your views on it? Is it a safe car? Is it cheap to run? Is it a good car for a teenager to learn responsibility in? Thank you very much!

I owned one. It is safe, but not as reliable as I would have liked. Also pretty big and hard to maneuver in tight spaces such as parking lots. Burns a lot of gas and repairs will add to the expenses. The RWD is bad on snow. Overall, it is a very average car. Not horrible. Not great. A Honda Accord or Toyota Camry would be a much better choice in virtually every way.

It's actually an ok car. One of the few pre 2010 american cars that are actually good. They're robust, safe, cheap to own and they get surprisingly good mpg on the highway for a V8. That's why police units use them. The only downside is that it gets poor mpg in the city, it's what most people refer to as an old lady's car and it's as big as an aircraft carrier.
A better alternative is a late 90s early 2000s Toyota Corolla, similarly durable, slightly more reliable, and cheap to own and it's more efficient and easy to drive

They are SQUAD CARS< and TAXIS as well ! They are VERY DURABLE and I know plenty of people with over 300k mile on them! They are SAFE in crashes, and are VERY WELL BALANCED in suspension and handling, unlike a GM car. They are a bit MUSHY On the rod, and a good used BENZ Is still a great buy! Te\hey ALSO are used as TAXI CABS in EUROPE and parts are actually VERY VERY CHEAP as well! My BENZ discs were only $13.50, PADS< $25, and FRONT ONES $35. BUt I know where to shop! The YEAR of the CROWN VIC is important as well! OLDER ONES are better in some ways, and they are NOW history as well! NO MORE NEW ONES from CANADA! You are even BETTER OFF with an AUDI QUATTRO at a good price as they wil NEVER RUST< and are the most stable in VERY BAD WEATHER and are SUPER STRONG in crash tests, and they will NEVER EVER RUST! LIKE ALL EURO CARS< they need ALL FLUIDS flushed and refilled every 100k miles! BUT THEY LAST FOREVER! GOOD LUCK!!

They are rugged cars, built like battleships, and almost as large and heavy. As a result they suck gas faster than you can pump it in. They are also not very reliable, although repairs are not that expensive.

Why would you get her a car if she didn't display responsibility to take care of the last one?

They are okay. If it is a police interceptor model, the brakes on it are going to be outrageously pricy to repair.
