Palm of hand to open nasal passages?
Why does pressing your palm to the part of your cheek near the nose help me breathe better and seem to open up my nose?

Hi City!
It is important to see yourself in a mirror for a while and observe if your nasal septum is a little bit deviated from the central line. If yes then this may be the cause of your nasal airway obstruction. Secondly, it is not the reason then for your information, there are sinuses (empty spaces) behind the nose and other parts. These are the areas where the air flows. If due to some reason it is blocked you cannot breath effectively. That is why when you press on the side the airway opens up and you do not feel any difficulty in this regard. I would like you to go to ENT specialist for this.... may be he tells you some solution..... because the treatment might be surgical. However, if it is not interfering your normal life or you are younger then no need to go there. Moreover, if you are aged then I would suggest to visit at least for one time.
