Great question as i’m a Catholic playing Crysis 2 :-)
Idiots of all faiths (or lack of) are often scared of the unknown. They first thought we would die over 50mph, then TV’s suck out yar souls and now its videogames. The paranoia should wear off after ten years and they move on to another new thingy.

Maybe they just want to guard their mind, but it isn't a sin to play a violent video game. Violence may be part of the story line and so it is with movies. What takes place defines the reality of the story, and so it is the telling of a story. Would you tell the story of Jesus without the scourging and cross? No, because it defines the story. People are so hung up on legalism and rules that they forget God's grace.

I am not sure where you all get your info. I don't care anything about video games, violent or otherwise, that has nothing to do with religion.
