and if so, why? doesnt that go against the whole shalt not kill part? and if you use the logic that you arent the one killing someone then surely you hiring a hitman to kill someone you dont like would be a-ok in the eyes of god then wouldnt it?

who are we to decide someone should live when they do not wish to? if you have lost several body parts and parts of limbs and fingers due to skin cancer for example, why must that person stay in pain for years?

im just curious how some folks justify and defend things like this. not trying to hate just genuinely looking for a good answer.
john 14:14 by the way states "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."......so why do prayers go unanswered? if you say its gods will, and he will do as he pleases anyway, why bother praying in the first place?
is it just purely for comfort?
