If you are a feeble minded religious person that will let some fairy book with spooky heeby jeeby keep you from enjoying life, the number of tattoos doesn't matter.

God said Not to do it.....it's that simple..if you do than you disobey God and commit Sin

There's nothing wrong with getting a tattoo. All I would recommend is to make sure you get them from a place that uses proper sanitation and sterilization methods, for obvious reasons.

Actually tattoos aren't even a sin. You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD Leviticus 19:28 God told them not to get them if it's for the dead only. Don't get tattoos for the dead. As long as you're not tattooing yourself for the dead then it's okay. Only when it's for the dead it becomes a sin.(I only seen this verse on it though about it. Maybe there is but not what I heard of.)

It's only a sin if it's "concerning the dead."...Sins are also forgivable. I mean, if you can't afford to remove the tattoo. Trust me, it's very expensive--and painful.

The old covenant was superseded by the new (Heb 8:7,13). Just like the dietary restrictions were done away with, so are all restrictions that are not repeated in the new covenant. Tattoos are not restricted under the new covenant, therefore it is not sinful to have them.
But let me give you some advice from a nurse who saw all sorts of tattoos. Every patient said that after ten years, they wished they had never gotten them.

In the Bible it states not to mark the body...

Tattoos are not sin.
A specific order of priests in the OT were forbidden to make a mark on their bodies, but not anyone else.

It is a sin to put marks upon the body to remember the dead. Like say Joe died and you had a tattoo put on to honor him. That is a no no.

You are allowed up to 5 tattoos, but you must never have a tattoo of a dog or a cactus plant.
Please read chapter 5 through 12 of 1 John
Thanks.
