What, so you want her to be naked? It's a Disney movie, no.

She's a mermaid. Mermaids equal ocean. Ocean equals seashells. It is a common part of designs of mermaids across all fiction to have seashell bras and not just The Little Mermaid. Disney was just going with the flow.

Disney wouldn't dare show bare mermaid breasts in a kid's movie. In the real stories, mermaids are topless.

Well... why not? She's a mermaid. Mermaids live in the ocean... do you expect her to have a cactus bra?

Well, why would Disney want her to bare her breasts? It's a family/kid movie and most family movies don't show nudity or inappropriate scenes for the appropriate audience.

i don't like Disney at all. I think they rated them "G" because they thought that little kids wouldn't understand all of the not so "G" things in the movies. But now that the little kids are older [like me, for example] we understand the stuff now. person/lego above me: i have. i saw it in my spanish class and i fell on the floor laughing.
