I have a bruise on my stomach and I don't know why?

Yesterday, I noticed a little whitefish/yellowish bump on my stomach, surrounded by a black and blue bruise. Today, I can slightly see a bigger bruise forming around the bump. Should I be worried? Doesn't hurt but why would it be getting bigger?

    It might be a cyst. Most are harmless but I would get it checked out just to be safe.

    how big is the bump? markey is right it could be a cyst, or it could be a bug bite. also if you have shaved/waxed the area it may be a nasty ingrown hair.
