What do you think about the idea of wrestling championships granting their holders unique privileges?

Hi, it's Trish again. Um, I remember mentioning this idea in some other question that I answered a while ago, but I don't think many people agreed with it because of the thumbs down it got, but didn't get any explanations as to why they disagreed. So I decided to ask my own question about it to see why you might disagree or even agree if you do. By this, I mean instead of keeping the belts as plain championships to win and wear for no other reason, how about applying unique privileges to each belt? For example, world titleholders could hold something similar to a position of power, kayfabe influence over the business, and get treated like a king at the expense of the promotion. Each title could grant its own privilege to the holder. I personally think that this could open the doorway for better storylines, bring back prestige to all of the titles, and give wrestlers even more reason to win the titles. Kayfabally speaking, to prevent wrestlers from holding on to belts strictly for the power they grant, they could be forced to defend them every week or something like that. Do you agree or disagree with this? If so, please explain why.

Update:

1. I personally don't think you should be considered an "underdog" anymore when you win the title.

2. Champions can remain face by keeping good influence over the company. Heel wrestlers might hate that influence, which could drive them to win the title away from the face.

3. It doesn't have to be a single story. The influence that a wrestler might have could vary depending on the gimmick and various characters can get involved such as the boss. It can open the door to various stories.

I think this can be done, but not all the time. Once in a while would be all right and fun, but if it was done repeatedly it would kill the business.

#Underdogs would die
Imagine Daniel Bryan getting special privileges right now. His entire Underdog gimmick would be dead, just like that. He would probably be referred to as a "heel".

#How would a Champion remain face?
A "face" is generally made when people can relate to him/her. But if that person gets special privileges, then the Heel becomes the under dog. What are the people supposed to think? Who do they cheer for? What to do now?

#Repetitive Stories
Think about it. This concept would become stale pretty darn soon, and would lead to a lot of repeats.

My best guess is to use this concept when:
1. A Heel is the champion
2. On rare occasions *or* just a one time thing
3. Other stories don't seem possible

I hope I didn't ruin it for you, it's just my honest logical opinion.
