Rekindle what? Friendship? Maybe months, or a year or so. If romance, very hard to say. Some get back together and others never look at each other the same.

You are not doing children a favor by staying together if you are ready to divorce. If you both think you want to try again, go to a good therapist who can help you work through your issues...both of you. And don't leave the children out of the process of healing either way.
