Would you still give your CHILDHOOD crush a chance?
(Replacing real names)
He was my first "puppy love", Jackson: 3rd-6th grade. In 5th grade, I went to his house Mondays and Thursdays for a few months for robotics and we went to the same school, but we never became friends and we still don't talk.
I'm a junior in high school now. Jackson and my friend Joanne are BF and GF. My BFF, Haylie had a sleepover with Joanne a few weeks ago, where, ACCORDING to Haylie, Joanne said that Jackson's first childhood crush was me!!! and Joanne thought it was the cutest thing ever. But it's weird to me because Jackson never said anything to me about it, even though he knew I liked him? I could not keep it off my mind today and it made me think about him a lot again... weird right?
If -and only if- Jackson and Joanne break up by next year, do you think it would be okay to try to get to know Jackson better? Is it possible he could "remember" his feelings for me? If you were in his shoes, would you give me a chance and be flattered? Or is it weird bc it's from soooooo long ago?

YESSS, but don't just spring on him. Grow closer first.

Yes! Why does it matter if he was your crush as a kid or your crush now? A crush is a crush and you never know.....
But I agree that you should become friends first and know he still likes you in both a boyfriend/girlfriend way and a best friend Id do anything for you way
