Man, you sure don't get this idea of LEGAL AUTHORITY, do you? It's that thing that Bundy DOES NOT HAVE.

Here's your clue: The President has certain authority, including clemency to a prisoner. Bundy is not President. The President IS FOLLOWING THE LAW, Bundy is not. Bundy's defying the law makes HIM a criminal.

Every single thing you wrote in my question about Dr. King is FALSE. How is our country ever going to survive, much less thrive, if we do not have an informed electorate and we have millions of people (apparently like you) who are not only ignorant but demand the right to REMAIN willfully ignorant? When people give you facts that contradict what you think, it would be smart to do a little research or fact-checking to see which one of you is right.

I knew Dr. King and I marched with Dr. King. He was NOT a Republican and he stated on many occasions that he had a distaste for the Republican Party. Research it and quit posting lies about him.

Not the same thing at all. Obama was legitimately elected president and the Constitution gives him the right to pardon criminals or commute sentences. He is pardoning a few criminals whose crimes have been made a lot less serious by changes in laws. Bundy is a guy who 'doesn't recognize the federal government', who believes he has a personal right to public property.

Obama is following the law, Bundy is flouting it. That's the difference.

Of course the Republicans are reacting to Obama's pardons with the same predictable phoney outrage that they react to EVERYTHING Obama does. The problem with that strategy is that if Obama ever did do something truly outrageous, how would we know?

Bundy wants to feed his cattle without paying the system. If you get mad at people who take advantage of wel fare you should be mad at Bundy or you are a hypocrite.
