Gaming mouse recommendation?

I need something that will last.

I'm coming from a Cobra Junior mouse that's become defective in approximately 6 months. It was perfect for me, otherwise.

What Im looking for is a palm-grippable mouse (I can't stand claw gripping), that can go up to at least 1600 DPI. A DPI button would be useful. I've never owned a mouse with other programmable buttons, so I don't know if they would really help me at all. I just don't want them to get in the way.

I mainly use my current mouse for a variety of FPS, 4x4 strategy (IE Civ. V), and some other misc. titles like The Binding of Isaac.

Budget is whatever. I'm willing to pay. I just need it to last.

I think you should get something from Logitech like a G400S, its not expensive and it has 5 extra buttons for your games

if you want a lot of buttons you might be looking for a G600

I've been using the G400 and it works perfectly fine and its been more than a year

The G600 probably has that DPI button you want though
